TSG only works with products, services, vendors and teams that our project managers have either previously worked with or thoroughly evaluated prior to approving. All of the “best practices” technologies and techniques we utilize have been proven elsewhere, and either acquired, adopted or developed by TSG. In the course investigating solutions for use now, we also encountered many other fine systems and programs, which could be useful at a later date. Leg #1 - If you build it... - Build what? An effective web site. Clearly, if the Internet is the new frontier for selling more, marketing better, generating leads and much more, then web sites are its general stores! To successfully blaze trails, you MUST have a web presence that functions correctly in every regard. This includes both the customer-facing pages and EVERYTHING behind them that customers don’t see. That’s why our approach to web sites is holistic. An engagement with TSG is ongoing, and focuses on Web Site Optimization or “WSO”. In other words, the more optimal your web site is, over time, the better it will perform to meet your objectives. No web site is perfect. And just when you think you’ve nailed it, technology advances. To us, your web site is a work in progress, and you rely on us to make your Internet store the best it can be for you at any given time. That’s what you pay us for! Leg #2 - Who will come? - Customers are the currency of your success. Do you obsess over them? We do! Whether your end-consumer is an individual or a business, marketing on the Internet is about the consumers you have access to, what you know about them, and providing them with better value than your competitors. It’s a courtship process. You start with the universe of Suspects your offer will play to. Getting their favorable attention is the point at which they’ve become your Prospect. To win, and do so consistently, you must convert them into your valued Customers. At each stage, consumer data and database technology comes into play. Leg #3 - How will they find us? - TSG has developed its own comrehensive Search Engine Placement & Maintenance or “SEPM” methodology to increase the traffic to and raise the visibility of Client web sites. SEPM is an extremely thorough set of “best practices” that we’ve researched, adopted and embraced, in order to maximize the “score” of your web site, based on the algorithms search engines use to rate it. Success in this area is complicated and labor intensive. TSG’s off-shore labor model, allows Clients to improve the ranking of their web site and compete with companies spending more to out-rank them. Either you match their expenditure and level of effort, or they out-place you. It’s just about that simple. So, if your team or vendor is not producing acceptable results, it might be time you took a closer look at your division of labor. As a simple example of this premise, let’s look at what $100,000 buys you in the United States versus off-shore. In the US we will use a sample labor rate of $25 per hour. Off-shore we will apply a labor rate of $20 per day. In the US scenario, a day of labor costs $200 per day, and your budget pays for 500 days of effort... or almost two full time people.
